The Account Manager primary function is to act as the primary liaison between the Clients and PG Exhibits to ensure the smooth and efficient fulfillment of all Client expectations. This individual must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, energetic, with impeccable customer service skills. This candidate must be client focused with strong communication and listening skills. The Account Manager will have a fundamental role in helping their Account Executive(s) in maintaining and growing client relationships and business.

Account Manager Responsibilities Include:

  • Meet with respective Account Executives to review and analyze projects on a weekly or daily basis as needed
  • Ascertain the upcoming Show Schedule for each Client and continually review the schedule to anticipate Client needs
  • Develop a strong understanding of clients’ products/services, tradeshow and event needs, internal procedures for processing proposals and invoices and any other items pertaining to client management
  • Recap client meeting minutes and distribute to client and account team
  • Generate proposals and change orders detailing scope of services to be provided to the client
  • Manage all production, show service and logistics details prior to the show including coordinating Design, Estimating, Project Management, I&D, Supervision and Show Services to ensure timelines and deliverables are met
  • Communicate show-specific information with the I&D supervisor or labor team prior to show set-up
  • Schedule and attend all Launch and Hand-Off Meetings resolving all unanswered issues, reviewing the job file for accuracy of information and flawless execution of project
  • Ensure that all deadlines are not compromised to avoid “RUSH” charges for the client
  • Complete the Certificate of Insurance and any requests for any other Contractor Services
  • Manage and track all show/client shipments to ensure timely delivery
  • Review I&D post-show change orders and reports; communicate any issues to account team; participate in the development and implementation of remedial measures necessary for improvement
  • Monitor show service costs to effectively manage project budgets and achieve or exceed forecasted show profit
  • Review invoice against proposal to determine variances. Investigate unexplained variances to determine validity and accuracy
  • Regularly inform the Account Executive of project status and or any issues

Required Knowledge and Technical Experience:

  • 1-3 Years Account Management or relevant experience
  • Excellent client service skills
  • A proven track record of strong client relationships
  • Experience working with CRM tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent job experience
  • Experience in Tradeshow, Event Management or Exhibit Design industry preferred
